This Privacy Policy explains how PushBlock ("App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App. We built PushBlock to work almost entirely on your device, and we designed it to collect as little data as possible.

PushBlock uses your device camera together with Apple's on-device Vision framework to detect body pose and count repetitions. This analysis happens entirely on your device, in real time. No video, image, or pose data is ever recorded, saved to disk, uploaded, or sent to us or any third party. Once a frame is processed, it is discarded immediately.
To block and unlock apps, PushBlock requests Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) authorization. The identity of apps you choose to restrict is handled by Apple's system frameworks and is not visible to us or transmitted off your device. We cannot see which specific third-party apps you have selected.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Apple shares limited transaction information (such as product purchased, price, and subscription status) with our subscription management partner, RevenueCat, Inc., which we use to reliably unlock Pro features across your devices, view aggregate subscription analytics, and validate purchases. RevenueCat receives a device identifier and your purchase/transaction history but never your payment details. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for details.
All app data (exercise stats, settings, selected apps, subscription status) is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults and an App Group container shared with our extensions). Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.
PushBlock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Because PushBlock stores data locally on your device rather than on our servers, you can access, review, or delete your data at any time directly within the App (e.g., "Reset Stats" in Settings) or by uninstalling the App. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA; contact us if you'd like assistance exercising these rights.
We rely on Apple's platform-level security (sandboxing, on-device processing, App Group encryption at rest) to protect your data. Because most data never leaves your device, the risk of exposure through us is minimized.
In addition to Apple's own frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity, Vision, AVFoundation, StoreKit, UserNotifications), PushBlock integrates the following third-party services:
RevenueCat — manages and validates subscription purchases across devices. Receives purchase/transaction data and a device identifier. Does not receive payment card details. Privacy policy.
Firebase Analytics (Google) — collects anonymized app-usage events (e.g. onboarding completed, alarm created, app unlocked, subscription started) to help us understand feature usage and improve the App. Does not collect camera, pose, or Screen Time selection data.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects crash logs and diagnostic data automatically when the App crashes or encounters an error, so we can identify and fix bugs.
These services do not receive your camera feed, the identity of apps you've chosen to block, or your exercise history. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and none of these services are used to serve ads.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
