Frequently Asked Questions

Why does PushBlock need Screen Time permission?

PushBlock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to apply restrictions to the apps or categories you choose. Without this permission, the app has no way to block or unlock anything on your device.

Does PushBlock record or store my camera footage?

No. Rep counting uses on-device pose detection only — video frames are analyzed live in memory and immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded.

An app I selected isn't getting blocked. What should I do?

Make sure Focus Mode is turned on from the Home screen, and that Screen Time access is approved in your device's Settings → Screen Time. If the app was recently added to your selection, try toggling Focus Mode off and back on.

My reps aren't being counted correctly.

Make sure your full body (or the relevant body parts for the exercise) stays visible in frame, in good lighting, and that the camera is positioned correctly for the exercise (front camera for sit-ups, back camera for push-ups/squats works best in most cases). You can switch cameras from within the workout screen.

How do I cancel my PushBlock Pro subscription?

Go to Settings inside the app → Account Identity → "Cancel Subscription", which opens Apple's subscription management screen. You can also cancel directly from your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

I was charged but don't see Pro features unlocked.

Open Settings inside the app and tap "Restore Purchases." If the issue persists, contact us at nextsalution@gmail.com with your Apple ID email (do not send payment details) and we'll help sort it out.

How do I delete my data?

All PushBlock data is stored locally on your device. You can reset your stats from Settings → "Reset Stats," or remove all data by deleting the app.
